Check the shirt before you take the tags off. Five minutes now saves a return later.

Seams and stitching

Look along the collar, armholes and side seams. Stitches should be tight and continuous, with no open gaps or loose threads on visible areas. Give the seam a gentle pull — it should not separate.

Buttons and closures

Every button should be sewn securely, with no loose thread behind it. Button up the placket once: the holes should line up without pulling the fabric.

Print and stonework

Print should be aligned across the front panel and sharp at the edges. Stones should sit flat, with no gaps in the pattern and no residue around them. Run a finger along the shoulder — that is where lifting starts.

Fit

Try it on with the tags attached. Shoulder seam at the edge of the shoulder, two fingers of room at the chest, length where you want it. If it is wrong, stop and contact us rather than washing it.
