Most shirts reach a customer through several hands: a producer, an exporter, an importer and a retailer. Each hand adds margin and removes a little information.
What a middleman adds
Convenience, sometimes stock in your country, and occasionally faster delivery. What it usually costs is price — and clarity about the actual garment, because measurements and fabric details get copied between listings and drift.
Buying direct
Buying from the store that holds the stock means the product page is written by the people who pack the parcel. Measurements, material and size availability come from the same warehouse that ships the order. There is no agent between your question and the answer.
What you give up
Delivery takes 7–12 working days from China rather than next-day local dispatch, and import charges are yours to handle. For a single shirt, that is usually a fair trade.
One piece minimum, flat US$5 shipping, free over US$49, 14-day returns.
