Before you remove a tag, read it. The label tells you the fibre content, the size, the country of manufacture and, most importantly, how to wash the shirt without ruining it.
Fibre content
Cotton, polyester or a blend changes how the shirt behaves: how warm it feels, how quickly it dries, whether it wrinkles. The percentage matters more than the order.
Care symbols
Washing temperature, whether bleach is allowed, tumble drying and ironing settings are all encoded there. Rhinestone and printed shirts usually need a cold wash inside out and no tumble drying.
Size and origin
Size labels vary between lines — a business shirt and a casual shirt in the same letter can differ in chest and length. Compare the measurements on the product page instead of trusting the letter alone. The origin label tells you where the garment was made; ours are made in China.
Keep the tags on until you have tried the shirt: returns within 14 days require them.
