Buyer's Guide: Printed Shirts
Printed shirts are a staple, but quality varies. Use this guide to make informed choices:
- Print Type: 3D digital prints offer high detail and color accuracy. Ensure the print is integrated into the fabric, not just surface-level, to prevent cracking.
- Fabric Weight: For year-round wear, choose 120-150 GSM cotton blends. Lighter for summer, heavier for cooler months.
- Wrinkle Resistance: Look for easy-care finishes, especially for business styles. Test by crumpling a sample and checking recovery.
- MOQ & Budget: With MOQs from 30 pieces, you can test multiple designs. Calculate landed cost including shipping to set competitive retail prices.
- Customization: If you need custom prints, confirm the supplier's capability for small-batch custom orders and request digital proofs before production.
Always order a pre-production sample to verify print placement and color match. Ask for wash-care instructions to inform your customers.
